Me

I am an Application Developer currently residing in Houston, Tx. I recently returned to Houston after a ten year hiatus in East Texas. I have a degree in Computer Information Systems with a minor in Mathematics from East Texas Baptist University.
I love to program, and my languages of choice are .NET C# and Ruby. While I once only wrote web applications, I have expanded into Windows programs. I am currently the programming lead for the web portion of a medical information system. In the past I have worked at a few places designing web and windows applications for order entry and warehouse management. In my free time I write and maintain a few open source and unreleased Ruby and Python scripts including my MediaIntegrity script. I also designed and created etboo.com and numerous web based applications for ETBU. In the future I plan to try my hand at designing some sort of web based game.

I love to read, mostly sci-fi with a little fantasy thrown in every once in a while. You can find my list of favorite books on this page.

I play a lot of computer games. More so in the past than now, but I still would consider myself a hardcore gamer. I have my list of favorite games on this page.

I have also watch a lot of Anime and American TV shows. I have a home theater PC that I use to watch DVDs or captured shows on the TV. My favorite anime and TV shows are listed on this page.

I am a movie junkie. I like a lot of different kinds of movies and I have compiled a list of my favorites on this page.
